"Empowering through training to develop the next generation"
SenseAble Groups vision was founded in 2018 from a mother’s heart and a teacher’s vision - to upskill helpers into confident, capable child-minders.
Born from faith and passion, our mission is simple: “Empowering through training - to develop the next generation.”
We believe that when caregivers are equipped with the right skills, children thrive and communities grow stronger.
In 2023, we launched a specialist-designed child-minder training program in our immediate community - Zululand, South Africa! In 2024, we officially became a registered Non-Profit and Public Benefit Organisation (PBO), able to issue Section 18A tax certificates to generous donors.
By empowering unemployed women, we’re creating safe spaces for children and new career paths for caregivers - from one-on-one child-minders in the home environment to pre-school assistants.
Whether you’re looking to upskill your current helper or find the right fit for your family through our recruitment branch, we’re here to help.
Change starts with one. Let’s build a brighter future, together.
With love,
Tanya Bekker

The Visionary
The passionate heart behind SenseAble Groups NPC. A devoted mom of three and a qualified educator, Tanya developed a deep love for nurturing both children and women in her community.
She recognized a real need: many unemployed women longed for opportunities but lacked the training to step into meaningful work. With her background in education and her lived experience as a mother with a dedicated & caring, but untrained child-minder for 8 years, Tanya saw how equipping women with essential skills could change lives - not just for them, but for the children and families they serve.
Through SenseAble Groups NPC, Tanya leads training programs that empower women to become skilled child-minders and excellent housekeepers, with an added focus on cooking and baking nutritious, family-friendly meals. The program also equips them with confidence, dignity, and the ability to bring positive change into their own homes and wider communities.
Tanya’s vision is simple yet powerful: "Empowering through training to develop the next generation!"
